Shimokitazawa..is a popular, earthy small town...known with the subculture.. kitsche 'Shimokita fashion'..and thriving small theaters.. . Young and old people  coming here from all over Tokyo.. 
  Local customers have been using the station for more than 50 years:  it's  shocking for them to know the building is gonna be destroyed now.. they find they have attachment to the station facility!

The Odakyu railroad company says the new tracks are already completed deep underground, then, the infamous railroad crossing ..know as " never opening crossing" near the station.. is also vanishing..

The daytime photos, taken on March 20 Spring Equinox day; and the night photos taken on March 22..are mixed.. . How sad.. the station will be razed after tomorrow??
